Clothespin Note Holder

So I love Goodwill and when I was there last night, I picked up a bag of random clothespins, as random as that is. I decided to try to figure out a couple crafts to do. Here's what I came up with:

Here's the step by step to make this cute note holder:

You will need:

8 Clothespins
A frame, board, or something to mount the clothespins on
Paints- any colors you choose
Material- enough to cover your mount
Ribbon
Hot glue gun
Craft Bonding Spray

First I painted the clothespins white so the colored paint would be more vibrant. Then I allowed them to dry.

I then painted them with a few coats of colored paint and allowed them to dry.

I bought a picture frame from Michael's for $2, a piece of the top was missing, so it was marked as is. I then covered the glass with material, using the Craft Bonding Spray. I then wrapped it in ribbon, somewhat simulating a gift. I then glued the clothespins on.

I added the little bows, but you can do whatever embelishments you wish- be creative!

Hoop Wall-Hangings

So, as I said earlier- I've been sprucing up my bathroom for spring. I'm going for a shabby chic theme, and I'm still broke. I decided to use some fabric I had left over from another project to decorate.

I purchased two needlepoint hoops from Joann's for around $4. I then chose a coordinating fabric in addition to my scraps for around a dollar. I placed the fabric in the hoops and after trimming, it turned out really well!

Glass Bottle Vases

So I've been trying to spruce up my bathroom this week, but I'm low on funds. So I decided to rummage around and try to use things I already had to create something. I came across a few glass bottles in the recycling and decided to try something. Here's what I did:

First, I peeled off all the labels and washed them really good.

Then I painted them with a few coats of white acrylic paint and let them dry.

Then I tied them together with a piece of scrap material and added some leftover roses and baby's breath that I dried from Valentine's Day. Here's the finished product :)

I hope you enjoyed my first post! Please feel free to subscribe and come back next time for my next project :)
